The apartment is ideally located in Venice. It was totally renovated (in September 2007) by an architect-designer who lives in Venice. The apartment is on the ground floor of a little Venetian palazzo (XVII century) and has its own independent entrance. On the other side of the flat, one of the bedrooms overlooks a canal. The flat is in the Venetian neighborhood called Santa Croce, in the heart of the city. It's just a five-minute walk from the famous Rialto bridge and just around the corner from San Giacomo dell'Orio, one of the most beautiful squares in Venice.
You'll be very close to many of the must-see monuments, churches, and museums, all within 10 minutes by foot, and near a vaporetto stop for more far-flung sightseeing.
The flat is 100 meters from a walkway on the south side of the Grand Canal which faces the Casino.

At San Giacomo dell’Orio, just a minute away, you’ll find excellent restaurants, bars, gelato shops and all the shops you’ll need: a supermarket, fruit and vegetable store, and a pharmacy, and of course you’re close to the famous Rialto fish and product market.

You can quickly catch a vaporetto at two nearby stops, San Stae (line 1) and Riva di Biasio (lines 1, 51, and 52). There you can hop on the 1 and cruise down the Grand Canal towards Rialto and San Marco, and even the beaches of the Lido or the film festival. Heading the other direction, the 1 will take you to the train station for easy day trips to Padova, Verona, and Vicenza. The 51 will bring you to Fondamente Nove (15 minutes), where you can connect to Murano, the glassmakers’ island, or to Burano, so famous for its brightly-colored houses and lacemaking.
